Chenin Blanc is a popular grape in California and the Loire Valley of France. Yields are high, resulting in reasonable prices. It tends to show a fruity, semi-sweet flavor. Many of our patrons may prefer this grape, especially if they are just beginning to enjoy wine. Fried shrimp, scallops or oysters would go well with Chenin Blanc.
