CHATEAU D YQUEM, 1975, Sauternes

(Dee Kem) Yquem is a Premier Grand Cru from Sauterne. Château d Yquem is made from 80% Semillion and 20% Sauvignon Blanc grapes. It is produced only in certain years. The grapes are left on the vine well into late fall, or early winter, to develop boytrytis, resulting in higher sugars and a sweet, honey-like taste and color. Parker rating “97”.

FAR NIENTE, Dolcé, 2000, Napa

"If love could be bottled, this would be it!" Aromas of peaches, vanilla cream and honey drift out of the glass. At first sip, complex layers of nutmeg, nectarine, and vanilla explode across your palate. The finish echoes nutmeg.
